Beautiful antique octagonal mirror, Napoleon III style , made during the nineteenth century. The wood frame is adorned with gilt brass engraved with foliage or forming a double frieze of greek.
The upper part of the mirror is decorated with a large acanthus leaf shell made out of bronze. Bronze is also present on the frame of the mirror in appliques forming bouquets of flowers and in the form of friezes of foliage.
The glass is beveled.
