Rare Art Deco double washbasin in white enamelled ceramic, an elegant testament to the refined lifestyle of the 1920s–1930s. The two generous basins, each fitted with independent chrome-plated faucets, are set within a rectangular top with softened corners — a restrained formal language that is unmistakably Art Deco. The central pedestal with its moulded base is particularly well-executed: the play of horizontal projections animating its façade reflects the careful attention given to bathroom fixtures at a time when the bathroom was becoming a true space of domestic prestige. Both functional and sculptural, in good condition. A statement piece for a high-end bathroom renovation, a designer interior, or a collector of decorative architectural elements.
