This important trumeau shaped as a long trapeze was made in the 1940's as its specific Art Deco decoration indicates it.
Indeed, the beveled mirror shows a silvered bronze frame on the sides, composed of long vertical lines overlaid on one another creating a "stairs" effect, while its upper part is left with nothing. The frame also presents in the lower part a beautiful styilized roses frieze.
