This beautiful fireback was made in the 18th century
Squared shape with a semi circle pediment, this fireback is adorned with a typical Louis XV style decoration composed of acanthus leaves, flowers and shell scrolls, framing a woman bust dressed with a ancient tunique and a flowers crown on her hair.
