In good condition. Wood cracked and small missing parts.
This piece of a paneled room is typical of 19th century tops for windows or doors (see overmantel ). It represents a set of weapons lying on oak leaves: a bow and a quiver, an ax, a pike, an eagle-headed saber, a sword topped with a lion, a shield, and a centurion helmet adorned with a man's head.
