This pair of andirons from the 19th century was made out of bronze with two tone patina. This design with a dog and a cat is rather interesting and rare. This model is made after Jacques Caffieri (1678-1755), famoux sculptor and bronze manufacturer from Italy and working in Paris.
Polished and varnished gilded bronze and brown patina bronze.
