This cast iron Louis XV style fireback was made in the 20th century.
It is adorned with a woman and a man with a clothing appearance that suggests the importance of their social class. The couple is set in a decoration typical of the Louis XV style which one recognizes thanks to the presence of the shell on the canopy that is holding the curtains and the acanthus leaves ornament.
