This Rococo-style clock in gilt and patinated bronze depicts a putto on a chariot drawn by a dragon. The circular enamel dial is decorated with an openwork foliate design. Acanthus leaves and rocaille motifs form the base of the clock. While the reverse of the chariot displays the monogram of Louis XV (two interlaced "L"s flanked by three fleurs-de-lis surmounted by a crown), this clock is a 19th-century reinterpretation of the Rococo style.
