This set is a Chinese work transformed in France at the end of the 19th century. The upper part is made of a dragon raised on its tail, made out of bronze. The lower part, the body of the clock, is made of wood, with a very rich decoration carved on all sides with mythological plants, characters and monsters. The mechanism is French.
