Magnificent antique Napoleon III mirror with partitions, decor of putti and women profils in medallions

Stunning Napoleon III style mirror with partitions made out of wood and gilded stucco, during the second half of the 19th century. The decor is rich with large medallions with female profiles, ropes, foliage and flowers. Two putti support the large medallion that crowns the top of the mirror. At the two upper angles, two couples of sparrows frolic. The mirror is leaves gilded, in superb condition. The central mirror is bevelled.

Japanese style presentation cabinet with ivory and lacquer decoration

Cabinet inspired by the Far East, made in the 19th century. The upper part opens to a solid door decorated with a panel decorated with an old man sitting on baskets resting under a tree, inlaid with ivory and lacquer. It also has asymmetrical shelves and a small open niche. It is decorated with a bronze ornamentation of a dragon coming out of a pagoda. The lower part opens with two bronze-griped drawers and rests on two carved uprights with dragon heads and claw feet.

Henri-Auguste FOURDINOIS (1830-1907) - Louis XVI style Bureau plat

Stamp "H. FOURDINOIS" under the top of the bureau. Fruit of a superb work of marquetry and wood veneer (walnut, cherry, blackened pear, sycamore), this Bureau plat is adorned on all sides of gilt bronze, rosettes of Louis XVI style, foliage and friezes of flowers. The desk rests on four toupies feet which develops in the shape of tapered and fluted columns, topped with asparagus heads characteristic of the Louis XVI style, and surmounted by capitals of ionic order. The gilt bronze ornaments of this flat desk are of a very high quality. The excellence of carving and gilding attest to a virtuoso work.

Gothic Revival Wall Clock in Carved Wood and Hardstone

A striking wall clock crafted in dark walnut wood, adorned with inlaid panels of deep green hardstone. The radiating fan-shaped structure is enriched with fantastical and mythological figures. At its center, a dragon-like creature grasps a silver serpent in its jaws—the sinuous serpent forming the clock’s hands. The hours are marked by white enamel cartouches set in gilt frames. On each side, two hybrid creatures with bat-like wings and expressive faces give a dreamlike and fantastical nature to the timepiece.
