Important antique cast iron fireback, representing the biblical scene of the sacrifice of Isaac, made in the 19th century.
The sacrifice of Isaac is a biblical episode, in which God asks Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a holocaust on Mount Moriah.
The scene shows the moment when, Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son, the angel of the Lord appears and holds his gesture.
