This very beautiful antique Directoire style fireplace is made out of Bleu Turquin marble with low-relief inlays of Carrara Statuaire marble. The straight lines of this antique fireplace are emphasised by the delicately carved low-relief features. The centre of the entablature is decorated with a very realistic quiver and bow. The sides of the entablature are inlayed with two diamonds with a fine row of flowers and pearls. The two jambs are decorated with two friezes of palmettos running across the top and bottom.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but they could be made to order.
