This antique Regency period fireplace was made out in a beautiful Red of Rance marble during the 18th century. The opening of the fireplace is underlined by a fine molding, reminiscent of Louis XIV style ornaments. This fireplace is decorated with molded panels and medallions.
This fireplace has a very interesting detail in its decor: the junction between the legs and the frieze at the medallion, is extremely rare.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor.
