The queen dressed in court clothes stands holding her royal crown by her side. She is set in decor of curtains, plants, and fleur de lys. Such decors were often used as frames for Royal portraits.
A similar fireback is presented in the book by Henri Carpentier called "Les Plaques de cheminée" .
