This antique Louis XV style mantel was realized at the end of the 19th century in Carrara marble.
The jambs, slightly curved are adorned with scrolls and a small shell on each angles. They flank a serpentine entablature adorned on its center with a beautiful shell underlined by an oblong molding.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
