This very beautiful Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the second half of the 19th century. The curved jambs are decorated with thick acanthus leaves. The moulded entablature is carved in the centre with a foliaged medallion.
The sides of this antique fireplace are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with its original enamelled insert and with its marble floor.
