This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace with rounded corners was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The quarter round jambs are fluted, filleted and carved with lines of asparagus heads. The entablature is intricately and elaborately carved with interlacing laurel branches linked together by a ribbon.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and original marble floor. The marble floor is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
