In very good condition. Sides were made later.
This Regence period fireplace was made in the 18th century. This period work in Brocatelle marble still has the large dimensions of the Louis XIV style , while its lines are softened and the entablature is curved. The entablature and jambs are carved with panels depicting curves and scrolls.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
