This antique Regence style fireplace was made out of Panazeau marble during the 19th century. The jambs are decorated with winding features carved in low-relief. The entablature is decorated with a foliaged shell.
This fireplace is sold with its original metal fireplace insert but without any marble floor. But one could be made to order.
The copper insert has been cleaned and has its original copper color.
