This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The rounded corners of this fireplace are fluted, filleted and carved with asparagus heads. The entablature is decorated with a beautiful medallion with carved foilage. The edges of the entablature are decorated with square rosettes, characteristic of the Louis XVI style.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
The original pier glass is available under ref. 10144.
