Beautiful Louis XVI style mantel carved in Carrara marble in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is decorated with oak and acanthus leaves. The ends are decorated with square rosettes. The curved jambs are adorned with falling acanthus leaves and a ribbon frieze.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
