The ends have two finely carved square rosettes. The slightly scrolled jambs are adorned at the top with large falling acanthus leaves and carved canals decorated with scrolled ribbons typical of the Louis XVI style.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
