Fireplace made in Italy in the 20th century, in Carrara marble, on the theme of Original Sin. A carved panel of putti picking grapes adorns the center of the frieze. The jambs are carved, Adam accompanied by a dog for one, Eve accompanied by a rabbit for the second.
This fireplace is sold with its original marble floor but without any fireplace insert.
