This antique exceptional Louis XVI style fireplace was realized in a beautiful Panazeau marble in the 19th century. The frieze contains in its center a decoration of flowery horns of plenty of an extrem quality of chasing. The representation of the detail of every flower is there very fine. Jambs represent fluted half-columns decorated with golden bronze. So, every groove is furnished with a rudenture with head of asparagus whereas the high part of the jamb is richly decorated with a ring of oak-leaves.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and its original three squares marble floor.
