Very beautiful Louis XV style sculpted fireplace in Carrara marble

This beautiful Louis XV style fireplace was made in Carrara marble in the late 19th century.
Its lines curved and reverse curved, typical of the Louis XV style, show a luxurious and elegant sculpted decoration. Its serpentine shape entablature underlined by an oblong moulding, is adorned on its center with a beautiful shell from were springs out a mix of acanthus leaves, stylized flowers and volutes. We also find on the corner the acanthus leave motif. The curved feet are also richly and harmoniously decorated with the same elements from taken from the Louis XV style. The whole supports a curved edges slab.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
