This important Neo-Renaissance Style oak fireplace was made in the 19th century.
It is finely carved with four lions heads, alternating godrons and acanthus leaves .
The jambs formed fluted column with a Corinthian capital decorated with busts of sphinxes (See our article about sphinx ), plants and putti. The bases of this columns are embellished with diamond tips.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor. The marble floor can be made on demand.
