A set of antique oak parquet flooring, comprising a central herringbone pattern laid plank by plank, framed by a 50 cm wide border along its longer sides. The border, in very good condition, features a geometric marquetry design in contrasting wood tones: light oak, brown-purple stained wood, and black strips, forming a series of alternating sawtooth patterns framed by fillets. At the corners and along the border, eight-pointed star medallions provide ornamental punctuation characteristic of 19th-century Parisian bourgeois parquet flooring. The central star motif is included in one piece.
