This beautiful "parcloses" mirror was made in the 19th century. Characteristic of the Napoleon III style , this mirror has in its center a beveled glass framed by several friezes of gilded bronze and carved and blackened wood. Small applications of gilt bronze represent palm leaves and foliage.
The last level of framing is a blue glass bringing a nice polychromy to this mirror.
