This set of three carved walnut paneling was made in the 19th century. Originally placed above a door, they are richly sculpted with the attributes of the arts: violin, oboe, theater mask, mandolin, castanets, tambourine, book and writing feathers. The background of each panel is bush hammered, allowing a subtle play of light.
