This antique Napoleon III style fireplace was made in the 19th century in subtly veined Carrara marble. Jambs with lions’s paws, typical of the Napoleon III style, are adorned with large leaves which drop down. They support a frieze decorated at its ends with naturalistic rosettes inspired by the Louis XVI style. This fireplace, imposing and elegant, has important dimensions.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
