This elegant pareclose beveled mirror made in the second half of the 19th century is a very beautiful example of the Napoleon III decorative art style.
Finely executed, the frame decoration in stucco is inspired by nature, the mirror is indeed surmounted by a scroll lace of plants and flowers inhabited by cherubs and a central bird.
