Made in gilded bronze in the 19th century, this firescreen is flanked on each side by a twisted frieze, and has a finer frieze decorated with flowers above and below, with a larger one in the centre. The two upper corners are decorated with acanthus leaves, while the lower corners feature two angels playing musical instruments back to back, surrounded by vegetal motifs. The four corners of the screen are decorated with a flower. The handle and the four feet are twisted.
