This plaque depicts a famous episode from the Trojan War: the dispute over Achilles' armor. After the hero's death, his armor, forged by the god Hephaestus, was placed in the center of the Greek camp. Two warriors vied for its inheritance: Ajax, the symbol of strength and courage, and Odysseus, the embodiment of intelligence and strategy. Before the commanders and soldiers, each pleaded his case to obtain these prestigious weapons, the ultimate emblem of glory and command.
