As it stands, one of the planters has been restored by gluing.
These two elongated rectangular planters are carved from solid limestone. Their outer walls feature a relief frieze of floral scrolls and small berries arranged in a string-like pattern, framed by band moldings. Each planter rests on small ball feet. An aged patina, enriched by moss and lichen—evidence of long-term outdoor use—gives these pieces their distinctive character. One of the two planters has undergone a restoration involving bonding.
