This antique Napoleon III style fireplace was made out of a subtly veined Carrara marble during the 19th century. Two beautiful Acanthus leaves decorate the top of the jamps which are fluted just as some antique pilasters. The frieze is delicately paneled and has at its center a rectangular diamond shape which brings elegance and sophistication to the fireplace.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
