Grand staircase from the castle of Draveil
Circa 1875 made for the castle of Draveil.
This monumental staircase was made in an authentic Louis XIII style. Supported by a pair of square columns and two modillions, decorated with hanging acanthus leaves. The railing is composed of double balusters. Fully carved in oak.
In the 19th century, Draveil, a town in the Paris region was the center of architectural creativity.
