This set clock is a work from the late 19th century made of Carrara marble and signed on the back "A. Violette".
The clock takes the shape of a Louis XV style mantel with three shells that we find on the center of the serpentine header and on the top of the jambs. It also shows a inlay decoration of Vert de Mer and Sienna yellow marbles on the facade and the sides. The dial on the center, signed "Rigaud Paris", is encircled by a beautiful stars garlands meticulously sculpted and surmounts the inscription "Souvenir". Two cups also sculpted in Carrara marble ans resting on octogonal feet accompany the clock.
