Elegant cast iron fireback in the Louis XIV style from the 19th century. A carved décor with a crowned coat of arms of France framed by palm leaves attached by a ribbon that flare out generously. The many details such as the pearls in the crown or the texture of the leaves, show a high quality of craftsmanship and a desire to realistically portray the elements.
