This Louis XVI style fireplace with rounded corners was made in the 19th century. In Violet Breccia marble, the veins animate a very straight-lined and refined design. The entablature is paneled and molded, framed by the jambs heads with square panels. The jambs are carved with three rows of filleted flutes.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
