This Napoleon III style fireplace was made in the 19th century. It was carved in Bleu Fleuri marble , a marble sought for its distinguished color. The panneled entablature is supported by console feet, strongly curved by circular scrolls and then covered with acanthus leaves, and taking the form of paws of lions resting on the bases.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and with its original marble floor.
