This antique fireplace was made in the 18th century during the Louis XVI era out of Arabescato marble. Its jambs are decorated with flutes and small asparagus heads. At the corners, naturalistic rosettes framed by pearled rhombi recall the bucolic taste of the 18th century. The cast iron insert, made in the 19th century, is also decorated with a large rosette surrounded by a circle and ornamented with a vegetal garland.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
