The fireplace is being cleaned, new pictures will be taken when it comes out of our workshop. There is a small damage on the side which will be restored. (see picture)
A classical Pompadour design in Bleu Fleuri marble.The enamelled insert is broken. The marble earth floor is also broken but avalable.
Bleu fleuri marble (flowery grey) comes from the Carrare region in Italy. The specificity of this marble is its rich dark black veins on a light grey base. Often used during the Empire period (1804 - 1814) particularly for the Emperor’s bedroom in his palace in Compiègne.
