This Louis XVI style mantel was made of Saravenza marble in the late 19th century.
Its very simple decoration is contrasting with the vivid veins of the marble. The entablature is simply adorned with a moulding and roses on each corner. It is supported by straight fluted jambs.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its original marble floor.
