Fireplace carved in Carrara marble during the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is adorned with a finely carved frieze of ribbons framed by a frieze of pearls and two square rosettes on each side. Resting on square bases, the curved console jambs are decorated with a frieze of piastres.
The cast iron interior decorated with a laurel wreath is typical of the Louis XVI style.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
