This mantel was made of Belgium Black marble in the late 19th century.
It's the Pompadour model that we recognize thanks to the central medallion which is adorning the serpentine entablature. The slab and the jambs are also nicely curved, characteristic of the Louis XV style.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
