Good condition. A small restoration on the frieze.
Beautiful antique Regence style fireplace made out of black marble from Belgium in the 19th century. The opening on the hearth is underlined by a strong molding, called "Bollection", which recalls the Louis XIV style . The center of the friezeis adorned with a carved cartouche.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (ask us for marble availability).
