Beautiful antique fireplace in the Louis XV style made of White Carrara marble during the 19th century. The jambs placed with chamfered sides are made of curves and counter curves and are carved with large acanthus leaves and scrolled foliage. The center of the entablature, also curved, is carved with a beautiful foliage shell from which large acanthus leaves escape. The sides of this fireplace are paneled and curved.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
