This beautiful curved Louis XVI style mantel was made at the end of the 19th century in Arabescato marble. It shows a remarkable sculpted decor. The upper parts of the jamps take the form of a scroll covered by an admirable and falling acanthus leave, which is linked by a frieze of pearls to the scrolls that adorn the top of the feet. The entablature holds a slab which follows the shape of the feet, it is decorated on its center with an important laurel crown tied by a ribbon from where are escaping some laurel branches on each side. We also find on the angles, the square rose, typical of the Louis XVI style.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
