This Louis XV style fireplace was made in a beautiful Escalettes Alpha marble in the 19th century.
The serpentine header is adorned on its center with a large stylized shell lightened up with acanthus leaves. This motif is underlined by an oblong moulding which runs along the header which rests on slightly curved jambs
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
